A visit to the Hamam has been a traditional activity in the Arabic countries south of the Mediterranean Sea and in the middle East for centuries. In Holland there are only a few places that offer this possibility like  Amsterdam and Utrecht. From January 2007 there is also a possibility to visit a Hamam in the "Achterhoek". We have turned the old post office of Terborg into a new individual Hamam.

In a regular Hamam four to six people get a treatment at the same time. In our Hamam you will get an individual treatment so that hygiene and privacy are guaranteed.

After a short explanation about the programme, you take place on a heated marble treatment table. First the whole body is rubbed in with soap. After the soap has done its work, you are being scrubbed. After that you will get an extensive treatment with herbs or mud. Next you can relax in a delicious Jacuzzi and finally you can pick yourself up again enjoying a drink. After the intensive treatment you will certainly feel like that.

As an extra there is a possibility to have a reiki massage.
